The Indiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics is committed to the attainment of optimal physical, mental and social health for all infants, children, adolescents and young adults. To this end, the members of the Academy dedicate their efforts and resources.
WHAT'S NEW  
The Tdap project- music video and website - were created for the purpose of educating youth and their parents about the dangers of pertussis and the availability of a vaccine to prevent pertussis in adolescents and adults.

  • Laurel Couts, third year pediatrics resident, was granted funds from our INAAP mini-grant program and results from the focus groups on Parenting Practices in the Latino Community are now posted in a short powerpoint.

  •  Luis Fernando Esobar, Medical Director of the Medical Genetics & Newborn Follow up Clinic and Staff neonatologist at St. Vincent Children's Hospital has  been selected to serve as a consultant on the Molecular and Clinical Genetics Panel of the Medical Devices Advisory Committee, Center for Devices and Radiological Health, Food and Drug Administration.
