Helping both Hoosier Children
and Pediatricians
INAAP currently supports seven committees, each with a focus on a different topic. Four of the committees are dedicated exclusively to children’s health issues. The focus of the four “work committees” may change from time to time as new children’s health issues emerge in Indiana. Currently, the work committees are:
- Early Brain and Childhood Development
- Chronic Conditions
- Perinatal & Infant Mortality
- Preventive Health

The other three committees remain constant from year to year. These “standing” committees are:
These committees help INAAP address pediatrician well-being and development, issues related to the practice of pediatrics, as well as ensure that INAAP’s voice is heard at the Statehouse.
Each committee meets once every other month during INAAP’s monthly board meetings, which take place on the third Wednesday of each month. For 2016, the work committees will meet in February, April, June, August, October, and December. Standing committees will meet in January, March, May, July, September, and November.
